Kayaking 101

Learn the basics of kayaking! Pre-registration is required.

Join us to learn the basics of kayaking.  All equipment provided. Participants should be physically able to assist with unloading and loading kayaks in the trailer and carrying them in and out of the water. Registration Required. Please sign up here.

• Meet:  At kayaking launch under the 281 bridge. 
• Bring:  Water, Sunscreen, Sunhat, Watershoes, and wear quick dry clothing. Participants should wear sturdy shoes that can be submerged in water.  PLEASE DO NOT WEAR FLIP FLOPS. The river bottom is slippery when entering and exiting the kayaks. 
• Cost:  Free with paid park admission, which is $5 for adults and youth age 13 and older.
